Nire's Desk of Horror

I thought some people might find this amusing. It's an inventory of everything that's on my desk. The surface layer (aka things I can see): Keyboard, monitor, mouse, mouspad, curled up black cat tea-light holder, cell phone, speakers, two white pills, broken dragon ring, tissue, straw wrapper, empty bottle of IBC rootbeer, list of songs to DL, empty CD case, Kodak EasyShare CD on top of empty case, postcard from Australia, day planner, Jiffy PB top w/coin-sized hole cut in it, Set of "Disk TRansport" cases, Ace bandage, picture of a friend I never see anymore, light saber, old cell phone, story about a cat, telephone cord, more CDs, even MORE CDs, tNBC belt buckle, tons of pins, Jiffy jar that's a size too SMALL for the lid previous mentioned, stack of CDs, stack of 3.5" floppies, love letters from ex boyfriend, papers giving directions on how to do some registry cleanup, deoderant, lid to the aforementioned JIffy jar, also with a coin-sized hole cut out, more love letters (okay, thinking about them is making me upset - I need to get rid of those), clothespins for the chips sitting next to the computer (on the floor), PMS relief kit from Bath&BodyWorks, Halls cherry coughdrops, the top of a dorito bag that I cut off so I could reach the chips easier, the rest of the dorito bag filled with random trash (like freezepop wrappers). The lower level (aka after things have been shuffled): Gloves, bank statement, list of CDs my sister wants, bird by bird by Anne Lamott, more empty cases and CDs, books that came with the computer, receipts from the-gods-know-where, wires, an inhaler, ribbons, a slingshot, ticket stubs (oops, the deoderant has been inadvertantly moved from the desk to the floor), necklaces (I forgot I had these!), an okarina The upper level (aka, the shelf built into the desk): printer, quill, tNBC hairties, belt clip for my call, subwoofer, Spaz Juice, can of pens and pencils, loose pens and pencils, Eucalyptus jar to clear my nose when it's stuffy, leave-in spray-on Suave kids' conditioner, fiber-optic bonzai tree, ink well with feathers and a flag in it, ragdoll cat, mini casseted case for my voice-recorder, glow-in-the-dark stars, 3-prong adaptor, LotR goblets from BK, dead cactus (shit, I forgot that was back there, too), empty mini-flower pot, keychain cow, tacks, paperclips, safety pins, bead bracelet, nightlight, ribbon, the wing from my dragonlamp. I think I need to clean my desk off.

you know...if you had spent the time you took typing that up to instead clean your desk off, you wouldnt have this problem. :-P
