Crap! I want a multi-Region DVD player.

Then I want Honogurai mizu no soko kara aka Dark Water aka How The Hell Did 5 Words Translate To Two?? and Ringu and Ringu2 and Ringu0 and if anyone knows where to get these (where these = the originals, not the US remakes, duh) as Region1 DVDs I will love you forever and ever and ever and ever.

Okay, apparently Ringu is out as Region1. Anyone wanna buy it for me? And maybe Chaos, too?

evidently inu means dog and basudekake means birthday cake. But I think the birthday cake one is just a japanese phonetization of the English word... Hmmmmm. I learned those from a Chik-fil-a booklet.

oh, and yes, Ringu is out as region one, they had it for sale at Wal*Mart last time I was in there.

Curiously I've never seen any of these Japanese originals. Which is weird cuz I'm a crazy freak for the Godzilla/daikaiju stuff...

What brand name and model number DVD player do you have? I found a website that gave instructions for making the one I have "region free" and eliminated the DVD to VCR dubbing glitch.
