More About the Laptop

Well, I guess I've gone through most the stages of grief and am now wavering in between depression and acceptance.

At least I'm learning stuff. That's the good thing about a Linux computer shitting the bed: there's plenty of stuff you can learn from it. Or, at least, it's kind of fun to fix. However you need to fix it.

I managed to clear 60gb on my harddrive by uploading lots of stuff to file hosting sites. It would've been a lot easier had I just had a pack of DVDs lying around. Alas.

Somewhere between grief and depression should be the stage known as Violence. Because learning stuff is good, but not always as much fun as hitting stuff. Trust me, I know. ;-)

Well, um, see. Between grief and depression I might have maybe thrown it off my bed. And then kicked it. Just maybe. Because there was no way I could further destroy it.
