I feel wrung out, dude. Like. ja;kdlsfj;laksdf OH MY GOD THAT SHOW ♥_______________________♥ THAT WAS SO AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND THE WRITERS TROLLING US WAS HILARIOUS* AND JUST. THAT SHOW.
But also I am incredibly sad that that was it. :( No more Lost, forever. But holy shit the ending was amazing, and the recreated shots from previous episodes in different situations was amazing and just THE ENTIRE THING WAS SO WONDERFUL OH MY GOD.
*So, all along, they've been saying THE ISLAND IS NOT PURGATORY THE ISLAND IS NOT PURGATORY. Like, it's kind of a running joke at this point, where everyone's like "Lost n00b's reaction to this episode: OMG U GUYS THE ISLAND'S PURGATORY!!!!" because, well. It's funny because it's true! And so the writers have just been consistently going "No, seriously, THE ISLAND IS NOT PURGATORY." And, well. It wasn't!
lololololololol oh my god my desire to watch the entire series has just skyrocketed (AFTER LEGEND OF THE SEEKER DUDE. SERIOUSLY.) because that is hilarious
I AM SO HAPPY but also really fucking sad that it's over. I AM RELIABLY INFORMED THAT THIS WEIRD MIX OF EMOTION IS CALLED "BITTERSWEET" AND I AM NOT SURE THAT I LIKE IT >:(
I'm also really impressed by how incredibly clear everything was. They gave us answers!! THEY SPELLED EVERYTHING OUT FOR US!!!!
WHAT IS THE STRANGE NEW WORLD I AM LIVING IN WHERE LOST GIVES ACTUAL CLOSURE???
Like, there are a couple things that I am disappointed about (and, by "a couple" I mean the way the Walt storyline just... disappeared. Like, writer people, I understand that you could not really do anything with that story because of the whole "Kids grow fast at that age and the seasons are not actual years like with most shows" but maybe you should have thought of that when decided how old Walt was gonna be.) but overall, I am just overjoyed at how amazing that was and how it was nearly everything I wanted from the finale.
And I fucking love how, like. The way they split up the characters in limbo? LIKE. If Richard had been there, I would have been really fucking pissed off because there is no way I would buy that the couple years spent with those people was more important to him than, you know, his wife, based on his character.
Also, I choose to interpret Keamy dying in limbo to mean that he went to hell, because that fills me with fucking joy because that's what you get for killing Alex you piece of shit.
